Reviewing adult webcam sites since 2004
Pros: I believe Cam Contacts is the best value pay webcam website. I've found chat hosts on there that charge as little as $0.50/min for live action. There are a lot of hot young babes on the site too so overall it's a great site.
But the best part of CamContacts.com I believe is the game feature called StripHiLo. Often the webcam ladies get bored and have trouble finding things to do. StripHiLo is fun for the host and fun for you. It's a bit like a simplified version of Strip Poker. But unlike other games you'll find on the web these ladies are real. Unfortunately since Strip Hi Lo is a flash game it is not available on apple devices.
Cons: One of the drawbacks of the site is that it doesn't have free video chat, you can only chat live for free without seeing the chat host. However in a way that is also a benefit. Sure you can't see hardcore action for free like you might on MyFreeCams. But when you're watching with 2,000 others it loses that intimate connection that you get with sites like CamContacts. Many of the hosts that migrate to other sites start out on here. They like the friendly users who treat them with respect. You'll find women here trying to meet guys in the Make New Friends and Long Term or Marriage section.
Design: The design of CamContacts is beginning to look a bit outdated and it has a very small, low quality photo archive and no video archive. It was one of the first webcam sites I found and it really hasn't changed a lot since I started reviewing way back in 2004. But with the low cost, the intimate style, and the chance to chat to real women it's still one of my favourites.
Billing: One thing to keep in mind with CamContacts is that you don't buy time on the site in advance. So once you enter video chat you will be billed and if you don't keep track of the time you could run up a very large debt. Though the site does have some checks in place to make sure you don't go too overboard.

Although you don't get free video chat with cam contacts you do get the cheapest paid video action on the web. With some women charging as little as $0.50/min. That's great value. But often you get what you pay for. A nice host could charge $1.99 and a really hot sexy fox could be as much as $4.99. The hosts get to set their own prices so it is usually is a matter of you get what you pay for.
However since this site has a lot of genuine amateurs who are just starting out in the webcam business you can get a really great show for a low price if you look around.
There are around 120,000 live chat hosts registered with CamContacts. There are usually around 500-1,300 available at any given time. So this is one of the larger sites around.
Like many sites most of the women available are from Eastern Europe. You can view by country and it shows 26% are from Russia, 21% from Romania, and 17% are from Ukraine. But a large percentage around 12% are from the USA. The next biggest group would be from Asia with 5% from the Philipines. Though it is hard to know how accurately hosts enter their country of origin. 6 hosts claim to be from Pitcairn Islands, a remote island with only 48 inhabitants.
