The Rise and fall of Tube Sites

In recent years there has been a huge rise in the volume of tube sites on the web. Some of the more famous were youporn, porntube, redtube and megaporn although there were thousands more. The initial idea behind these sites were for people to upload home videos but gradually more and more copyright content crept in.

Soon tube sites were full of copyright videos made by big name adult porn studios and uploaded by users. The porn distributors were hurting financially and something had to be done to maintain their businesses.

Ultimately it had to end. Many of the tube sites have been taken over by the major porn companies and now contain mostly previews for content that can be purchased. Other sites are being sued. One of the most famous cases has been megaupload and megaporn which has had all their assets seized and a number of people running the sites now face prosecution.

So now it's back to live webcams, which were always better in my opinion. Major porn stars are doing cameo appearances on sites like ImLive and Huster Live. Download speeds are increasing. The resolution of webcam equipment is getting much better. More porn related techno gadgets keep becoming available such are user controlled dildos etc.

With all this going on webcam porn has become fully interactive, fully and immersive and totally enjoyable. There's no need to go back to pre-recorded videos on tube sites.
